How we accept gifts
MKF processes online donations through Givebutter, a platform built for fundraisers and mission-driven teams. You will complete your payment on Givebutter’s secure, hosted page—not on this site—so we never see or store your card information here. Givebutter sends email receipts, and you can use options like Apple Pay and Google Pay when your campaign supports them.
Donations back MKF’s work to train staff and volunteers, develop family-facing education and support materials, and help community partners with planning and evaluation for recovery and sobriety outcomes. As the foundation grows, we aim to publish a simple, readable summary of how gifts translate into impact.

Remembering Michael
The charity was developed in memory of our dear friend Michael Kellermann.
He fought a battle that most people never fully understood—maybe still don’t—and although his battle is over, his strength lives on through this foundation.
